The 2026 DMV BMW 318ti Cup is heading into its final chapter. Five race weekends across Germany and Belgium are done. Everything now comes down to Hockenheim on 23–25 October.
A season with no clear boss
The year started at Hockenheim in March. Luca Zeller took the first qualifying and won Race 2. Philipp Rönforth and Julien Schmid were right there with him at the front.
Oschersleben came next. Eric Tobler won Race 2 from Martin Garbrecht, while Zeller kept showing up near the top.
However at the Nürburgring the lead changed again. Jesse Uddoh won Race 1 and Sebastian Vollak took Race 2. Zeller, Lukas Schächer and Leon Schippert stayed in the mix throughout.
That has been the pattern all year. No single driver has locked down the front. Different names keep popping up and winning

From Zolder to Lausitzring
Zolder was the next stop before the championship headed back to Germany for the Lausitzring in September. That was the fifth of six rounds, so only one weekend remains.
The finale returns to Hockenheim — the same track that opened the season. A clean bookend for the year.

The BMW 318ti Cup comes down to Hockenheim
This is the last chance to score points. Most of the field already know the place well from the March opener. That first visit produced tight racing, with Zeller, Rönforth and Schmid separated by only a few seconds in Race 2.
Knowing the track could matter. In a title fight, consistency, a good qualifying position and staying out of trouble often count for as much as pure speed.
The teams have their own championship still to settle as well, so the weekend will have more than one battle going on.

One weekend left
Hockenheim, Oschersleben, the Nürburgring, Zolder and Lausitzring have all delivered their own winners and their own stories. Now there is only one round remaining.
The DMV BMW 318ti Cup returns to Hockenheim from 23–25 October. After a full season of racing, the champions will finally be decided.
One weekend to go. Then the 2026 season is done.
